School Council
The children will work along-side each other and help to make some important decisions on how to help us to improve different areas of our school. The previous School Council did an amazing job last year. They decided that the school playground needed some bedding plants, which they bought from a local garden centre, and now look really beautiful during our flowering season. We look forward to seeing what our new School Council decides to do this year. Our newly-elected School Council have had a busy start to the year! To complement our whole school "Earth Heroes" project, they planned and delivered an assembly teaching us all about plastic pollution. They are looking forward to seeing your entries for the recycling bin design competition! They have exciting ideas planned to develop the octagon outdoor space and will be discussing other ways to enhance playtimes over the next few weeks.
Eco-Warriors
Our newly elected Eco-Warriors will assist children and staff in becoming more aware of how we can look after our environment. Litter-picking, saving electricity and promoting ideas for helping the environment will be just some of the jobs that the Eco-Warriors will need to do. They Eco-Warriors are well-prepared and very determined to make a big difference.
