Notification of Local Area Inspection

We received notification this week that Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) will carry out jointly an inspection of Warrington Local Authority next week, to evaluate how effectively the local area:

  • identifies the needs of children and young people who have special educational needs and/or disabilities
  • meets the needs of these children and young people so that their outcomes and chances of participating fully in society improve.

Inspectors will be visiting our school on the morning of Thursday 13 December 2018, as part of the local area inspection and are very keen to speak with parents or carers of a child or young person with special educational needs and/or disabilities.  If you are a parent or carer of a child with additional needs and have not yet received information on how you can contribute your views and engage with the inspection process next week, please see the letter attached below.
